Good find

This dude going over the muscles on a model.

Platysma...

...is that weird stringy-looking muscle there on my neck. You use it when you are suddenly surprised and also to lower your mandible.

Depressor anguli oris...

...depresses the lower lip and also compresses them by drawing them closer together.

Mentalis muscle...

...protudes lower lip for pouting and for drinking.

It's pure vodka.

Levator anguli oris

...draws corner of mouth upward. More upward than that risorius muscle.

Zygomatic major

makes you smile real big. Like, psychotically big.

Depressor labii...

...draws lip downward and laterally. Nice.

Levator labii aleque...

...elevates upper lip and dilates nostrils for a look that says, "We need to change the cat box."

Levator labii superior...

...lifts your upper lip. And mine too.

The buccinator muscle...

...presses cheek against molar teeth and is used for blowing air out of the mouth.

Risorius muscle...

...helps draw the mouth laterally into a really fake-looking smile.

The orbicularis oris

helps you close and pucker your lips.

The depressor septi muscle...

...assists alar part of nasalis muscle in opening them there nares.

Hawt.

The alar part of the nasalis muscle...

...assists in opening the nasal aperture in deep inspiration. Om.

The transverse part of the nasalis muscle...

...compresses the nasal aperture. Like so.

The procerus muscle...

...draws down medial angle of the eyebrow as in frowning or concentration.
